The character animation couldn't even pass for student work!

Brought to you from the people that do all of our work.

I bet the dance scene is epic.

Its stupid. A lone blue character. As if the blacks and reds and yellows of the world haven't had suffered first-hand persecution because of their color, gays because of their orientation. The blue one is different. Therefore, he must be bad. Make a movie about a target that is not like us (even if the audience population is supposed to be Indians who took all our work from us), and you got a movie that misses the mark.

I hope no one worked any overtime without compensation. If they did I'm sure we'd hear about it though.

Anonymous #3, Rama (the blue guy) is not bad. He is the hero. He has been blue since the story was first told around 3,500 years ago.

Just wanted to let you know that this isn't a new attempt not to offend any ethnic group. It's a very old idea.

Yeah, before they found precious metal on Pandora.

Tim, I dont know all stories, and therefore dont know everything. But that the blue character is different (by some main attribution) and stands out from all others is the reason why idiots like many of us fear, discriminate and lash out on them. It is not likely that we are going to change as a civilized society. I could have read into the clip and determined he was a hero, but could not hear (because it was in a different language), and reacted the way I did because it is obvious he is different. By the way, I loved Krishna art and their blue gods since I was a kid, and that struck my fancy when I first saw this clip, but quickly determined a problem in that this was a single character that was obviously different. What society would trust an indivdual who is out of the norm? Isnt their a club of birthers that insist that Obama wasnt born in the US? (Not that the question would possibly be an issue with a "President McCain", in that he was born in Panama). Congrats on your level of education...mine varies from yours and has its merits.

^ What in the world are you dribbling on about?

Anon #3, I hope my tone was not condescending. I did not intend for it to be. But sometimes that happens in an attempt to be brief.

Yes, we all have our areas of knowledge. While I may have a decent handle on grammar (for instance), I cannot do my own taxes, repair my car's motherboard, or research a cure for any disease. We all depend on each other.

And I am sure that I could learn plenty from you, as well.

With respect,
- T

I guess the cg craze is still alive and kicking in other parts of the world.

"Quality" doesnt seem to be the goal of their pursuit either. Theirs is the pursuit of a quick rupee.

Not that Hollywood is not guilty of producing crap. "Jackass 3d" anyone?
